I first learned of the term genome when I played the video game Metal Gear Solid and was forever curious as to what the implications of the Human Genome Project would be. Today I read via google news that there is a company by the name of BioNanoMatrix that will sequence a genome for $100 in the near future. I'm sure as time passes even that price will go down.
